Only fragments of this will can be read. It is in poor condition and much of the top of the document is missing and it is written in an old-style of the English language. John's wife, Ellen Pickering was executor to this Will. The following text represents the highlights that can be read.

" ... equally ... between my dear wife Elon Pickering and my daughter Elizabeth Pickering ..."
