At age 64 Frederick sailed to London aboard the R.M.S. "Rangitiki". He appeared to be sailing alone and intended to make England his "Future Permanent Residence". He arrived in London on 5 Sep 1934. Since he died at age 71 in New Zealand it would appear that his intentions to live in London did not work out for some reason and he returned to New Zealand.
